What is it? Last year, Eumundi Christmas Extravaganza and The Hinterland Carols joined forces and created a magical Christmas experience. By combining the events into one, we were successful in producing a bigger than ever community festival that was attended by over 5000 people and achieved excellent social media results.
The 2024 event to be held on Sunday 1st December from 1.00pm to 7.30pm and will incorporate a full festive program. Undercover in a large marquee for the audience, there will be performances on stage with Christmas Carols, costumed performers, the Santas’ Festive Show and Santa.
The music program will be complemented by free rides, amusements, roving performers, food and market vendors. Due to the popularity last year, in order to keep the rides and amusements free to families, we need to secure more sponsorship to offset costs. Given that there are limited events of this type occurring in the region and the intention to add additional rides and amusements we anticipate this year we will draw even bigger crowds from Eumundi and surrounding areas. Your support is paramount to this event’s success.
To see a snapshot of the event, check out the video from 2021.
The Eumundi & District Historical Association Inc. is the principal funding partner of this annual event with the support of Hinterland Carols team. We look forward to the support of the Sunshine Coast Council, corporate sponsors, local businesses and volunteers. Our aim with sponsorships is to create a partnership that is of benefit to both the event and sponsors.
To assist with defraying the costs for this event, community partners are invited to contribute sponsorship support for this event in the following categories.
Be named as the Main Stage Sponsor where an array of entertainers will perform for the community to celebrate the festive season over a four-hour period.
This sponsorship supports the massive marquee that ensures the event continues regardless of the weather.
Be the first to confirm this sponsorship! Nothing beats meeting Live Reindeer in a sub-tropical climate!
Nothing beats concluding an amazing community event with a fabulous fireworks’ show. Only available on the program if sponsored.
Sponsor a large ride for the big kids. Rides like the Round Up or Sizzler.
Fun for kids of all ages eg Giant Slide, Land Train, Cup & Saucer, Skater and Super Flyer
